On April 16, 2026, a group of 13 tourists from a cruise ship docked off Faial Island traveled to Pico Island to enjoy a buggy ride and a majestic picnic.

A cruise ship that docked on Faial Island brought 13 tourists to the Quinta Adventures Winery, eager to explore and discover our island.

The Team Adega da Quinta Adventures He awaited his adventurers at the pier and, with his transfers, led them to the stand to equip the tourists for the upcoming adventure. Helmets and goggles chosen and briefing attended, it was time to begin the activity.

Two hours of activity on the adventure circuit were enough to leave them fascinated by the sheer beauty of Pico Island.

After the buggy tour ended, the tourists were taken to Quinta das Rosas where they could enjoy a picnic with typical island dishes, from fava beans to Iscas (a type of fried liver), rice pudding and, of course, the precious Néveda brandy, among other unmissable options.

Tourists from all over the world were very pleased with the opportunity to experience, in just a few hours, some of the best that Pico Island has to offer, from adventure and landscapes to traditional food, prepared with care and dedication.

Later, the tourists returned to the pier to board the boat again and return to Faial Island, heading towards a new destination: Ponta Delgada.
