Welcome to the website of Adega da Quinta Adventures. By using this website and/or booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, we recommend that you do not use this website.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

THE Adega da Quinta Adventures (NIF: 221259422) is a company located on Pico Island, Azores, which offers buggy tours along natural trails, vineyards and mountains, as well as accommodation in the Adega da Quinta.

This document regulates the use of the website www.adegadaquintadventures.com and the contractual relationship between the company and the customers who use our services.

2. RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

2.1. Reservations
  • Reservations can be made online, by phone or in person.
  • All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.
2.2. Payments
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card or cash, depending on the option available at the time of booking.
  • Reservations may require an advance deposit to secure your spot.

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations made up to 48 hours before of the tour will be fully refunded.
  • Cancellations less than 48 hours will not be refunded.
  • If the tour is cancelled due to weather or operational reasons, the customer will be able to choose between a full refund or rescheduling the tour.

4. SAFETY RULES FOR BUGGY RIDES

To ensure everyone's safety, participants must follow these rules:

  • The driver must have valid driving license.
  • The use of helmet and seat belt is mandatory.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances is prohibited.
  • The guide has the authority to interrupt the tour if he identifies risks to the safety of the participants or the environment.

Participants are responsible for following all instructions given by the guide.

5. RESPONSIBILITY

  • THE Adega da Quinta Adventures is not responsible for accidents resulting from negligence of participants.
  • We are not responsible for loss of personal belongings during the tours.
  • Damage caused to vehicles due to misuse may be charged to the responsible driver.

6. PRIVACY POLICY

6.1. Collection of Personal Data

  • Name, email and telephone number (when provided for reservations or contacts).
  • Payment information (processed by secure platforms).

THE Adega da Quinta Adventures reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will come into effect once they are published on the website.

10. RIGHT TO FREE RESOLUTION

Under the terms of article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14, customers who make reservations remotely (by telephone, email or through our website) have the right to terminate the contract without needing to provide a reason, within 14 days after making the reservation.

To exercise this right, you must send us a clear statement of your intention to cancel, via:

If you exercise this right within the legal period, we will refund the amounts paid within a maximum period of 14 days after receiving the cancellation request, using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

Exception to the Right of Free Resolution
According to article 17, paragraph d), of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, the right of free resolution does not apply to leisure services that have a specific date or period of execution, as is the case with our buggy tours and other outdoor experiences.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please contact us as far in advance as possible so we can consider the best solution. We are always available to help make your experience on Pico Island unforgettable!
