We had an unforgettable excursion in some otherwise unreachable areas of pico on this buggy tour.
Our guide Paulo’s only mission was for us to have fun. He gave helpful advice, allowed us to switch drivers half way through and ensured we had an awesome time. He even brought local treats (including gluten free snacks for my celiac wife).
Can’t miss this unique way to experience Pico. It’s a perfect way to spend a half day.
A rainy Day Turned into a Pico Island Gem
Highly recommend! It was an absolutely unforgettable experience! Even with a last-minute booking and rainy weather, Paulo turned the Buggy Tour into something truly special. His expert guidance made the challenging conditions part of the FUN, and he effortlessly led us through breathtaking landscapes while sharing fascinating insights. A standout moment was the stop at his family’s Adega, where I experienced the true culture and warmth of Pico Island. A big thank you for such a memorable day!

Great experience
This was definitely one of the best experiences I had in Pico and in the Azores overall. The adventure tour was challenging and fun at the same time, Paulo took us through some very rugged terrain where we had to really use the buggy and some parts where we could really see how the buggy behaves, all while going through some really beautiful scenery. It really is the best way to know pico.
Adventure with Paul
We had a great time with Paul. We did the adventure tour, it was fun to go on the mountain and taking the back roads to travel between the cows and the forest. The pic-nic was a good touch to take a break. I highly recommend this adventure !
